SeeJeepGo,...yep, Paint-less Dent Repair(PDR), they made my dent completely disappear. $95 big ones, but well worth it.

You know the other day, I had seen my friends jeep with a similiar but smaller dent. I didn't say anything to him--I thought he might be pissed off about it. No that I know what it's from, I'll mention it.

Same thing happen to our jeep.I was taking the top off and decided to take the doors off. I took the straps off, let the doors back real easy against the body then walked away to get a tool to take the doors off. When I got back to the jeep I pulled the door back to take it off and there it was a big ding. Both sides had dings. The wind was blowing hard that day and that is what did the damage. DON'T LEAVE THEM UNATTENDED WITH NO STRAP!!!!
VERY THIN METAL!!!!

Bummer dude. At least by reading this, others might learn by your mistake. I hope that makes it hurt just a little less.

The dealer tried to fix mine with the paintless dent removal, but the guy chipped the paint pushing out the ding. Now it's got an appointment to go to the body shop next week. They are giving me a loaner and paying for it, but it still sucks. They said it came off the truck like that. I hope they can get the paint right. The Red rock Crystal looks like a hard color to match, but I'm certainly no expert.

thanks for the suggestions guys about the paintless dent repair. i'll try to take a pic of the one mine has on the drivers side. But like i said above, it is nowhere as bad as the first pic posted. I'm really not too concerned about it. Especially if they mess up the paint like what happened to PhishJeep. Hopefully when i get a pic up for you guys to see, you will agree with me about not worrying too much about it.

I put a small dent in my hood just by waxing. Metal is too thin . I still like my JK though.

How big is your waxing hammer?

I agree metal is thin. This more than anything that has been changed bothers me the most.
You can really tell when you are carrying the doors. I flipped them around so the interior side was bumping my hip. It was making the bending metal boing noise.
