Installed the HH recently and they look great. I had a couple of questions and Mark (the owner) personally called me and answered them. You can't beat the customer service and the quality of the product!

Just curious if there is any difference between the area around the windows on the top on a 07-09 and a 12-13?
If so, how minor?
Thanks.

Yes, the windows on the 2011+ JK's are larger, so the area around them is smaller.

That looks awesome, I like it a lot! What type of paint did you use for spraying it? I might have to steal the idea come spring.

Default Boom Mat Looks

So does this stuff look decent. The picture on 4wd.com make it look like some cheapo foam. Anyone know how it compares to the product from Rugged Ridge?

I actually used Rustoleum Blackboard finish.....I wanted a flat black and was toying with the idea of writing stuff all over the interior with chalk
I wound up installing the boom mat and Wow what a difference it made to the interior cabin noise...It truly was quiet and when turning up the tunes it sounded pretty great acoustically .

It is actually pretty nice and has stayed stuck with no signs of coming off. I really am glad about this purchase but I just switched out to my soft top and am now in a whole different world ( I was spoiled with quietness)!
I may need to purchase the new premium soft top!! I hate my soft top on the highway...way too much flapping and noise...it just makes me have to turn up the tunes and when ever someone is in the car it is a chore to have a conversation. Supposedly the new top is thicker and provides a quieter ride. I know it's a Jeep so I'm not expecting an infinity ...just a little less noise! The Boom Mat achieves this!! for anyone thinking about it..very well worth the coin!
Forgot to add it is actually very nice looking installed and of course it's properties are of sound deadening material . It also acts as an insulate for the heat or cold.

They are very easy to apply. I did not remove my top to install though they do recommend that you do. I think that it would make it easier to install too.
