Default Brake Pads That Don't Squeak

Hi All,

I'm looking for some feedback and recommendations of brake pads that don't squeak or leave a ton of dust on wheels. I've looked at a few threads here and on some other sites and it seems like feedback is all over the place.

Any feedback is appreciated. I'm replacing the pads on a 13 jku.

Thanks

I had good luck with Hawk pads but recently swapped to Wagner OEX pads in the rear. Neither squeak, neither are high dust- for the rear.

I have no experience outside of factory pads up front.

I put hawk pads on mine a few months back. Amazing improvement in stopping. I hate them. They produce ridiculous amount of dust. Don't squeak, but I won't use them again. I've used ceramic in lots of cars without squeaking.

Thanks for the responses, I think I'll give the thermo quiets a try.

Use the grease and do not use full metal pads.

I got the OEM pads from the dealer, very low dust and no squeaks, when you go, you have to specify OEM or you get what they call value time

Running EBC Yellow stuff in the rear on mine. Have been for a month or more.

Very pleased. No squeak, not a lot of dust. Good stopping.

Thanks everyone for the feedback, I went for the Wagner Thermoquiet pads and they're great! Only a couple squeaks and I think it's from the Break-in period / deglazing of the rotors. I got them at O'Reily's vs of online, my schedule this week didn't allow for mail order and I'm going wheeling this coming weekend. Got a little screwed on the price but at least the job is done and the brakes don't squeak anymore.
