I purchased a hard top for my jeep also. My jeep doesn't have the harness or controls for the hard top. For the minimal amount of time I would use them it just doesn't pay for me to buy the harness/controls, then go through the tedious installation process. One winter down with hard top so far and didn't even miss not having them.

Agreed I can't see using it anyways, Never really used the one my Bride had on her suv
