Check Engine light on with 3,500 miles???
Sitting at the dealership right now, because of check engine light. When I called about it last week, the technician told me that the sensor will go away with time. As long as it was a solid light, and not blinking. Not trusting him, I showed up the next day. Apparently, there is a leak in my fuel system, and there is no pressure in the lines. Thankfully I went with my gut, and not the guy on the phone line. Now I sit waiting for the work to be done.
So I just called the dealer, they told me that the CEL was from a stored O2 sensor, so they cleared it and test drove it, said it's fine. As for the traction control light, said it's because it needs an alignment and they are doing that now. The guy seems like a bit of a jack leg so I'm hoping he is shooting me straight.

Sent from my obama listening device
$93 later and all is good. I'll be sending that bill to the dealer I bought the Jeep from. I don't know much about engines/parts but he said that the steering wheel wasn't centered, the alignment was off and that a pivot arm wasn't bolted down all the way. Honestly it drives SO much better, no more wandering on the road.
Thanks for everyone's help! I'm sure I'll be back for other questions in the years to come!
Here's a pic from the weekend at the farm, had a great time!
