Sounds like I am going to wait. I only want them to do it once. I only have 3,900 miles on the Jeep now maybe when I get some more miles or months on it I will take it in.

I had my clutch disc replaced this week, so far all is well. Here's my question..has anyone found out what the difference is between the defective disc and the replacement? My 07 now shifts with much less effort...or softer clutch, it is much more like my now departed 97 TJ. It sounds like this problem has returned for some of you that have had the fix, I can live with the squeak if it returns, but what the heck is/was causing it?

just had mine done this past thursday. my jk developed the squeak at around 1,000 miles or so (i am at 9,000 miles now)...thus far the squeak is gone and the clutch feels a lot better, but I have only driven approx 20 miles since the change. time will tell i guess.

I got my jeep on thursday and the sound is gone and drives perfect. I think it feels much better and smoother shifts like someone already mentioned.

-Ever wish your dealership didn't make owning a jeep such a pain in the ass?
-TJ, JK......all drama!

-My wife has a honda with 100k miles.....I've been to that dealership ONCE and it didn't even cost a penny.
