Dashboard Rattle Still
The bolts at the bottom of the left A-pillar was loose, and the inside upper bolt of the right A-pillar was loose.
I tightened them to about 15 ft-lbs and the 'clicking' noise is gone. The tighter ones felt like they're intentionally tightened to no more than 20 ft-lbs, so I was careful not to over-tighten my loose ones.

Remove vent triim from the dash, there are four "round". twist and pull. drive vehicle and see if noise goes away. I had a simalr noise and found that where the trim piece contacted the hvac system behind the dash, there was a ratlle. added foam tape arond circumference of trim piece and then put it back in dash. noise gone, just drive for a whlie with trim pieces removed. Hope it helps.
Just purchased my new 2001 JK on Saturday and noticed a rattle driving home from work yesterday night. It's been in the 50's since I purchased it and it finally dipped below freezing yesterday. Got into the Jeep last night after work and had a nice 30 minute commute with a non-stop rattle. I pulled over once to inspect it from the passenger side. I waited for my girlfriend to come home so she could drive while I inspect but I guess it warmed up too much sitting in the garage.....cause it didn't rattle when she drove it!! It sounded like it was coming from the dash area but every time I moved my head closer to listen, it sounded like it was coming from somewhere else. On the bright side, I'm taking it back to the dealer on Friday to take off a black "Wrangler" sticker they put on the hood....I'll mention the rattle then.
