Would you be able to post some pictures?
I have the same problem (to the point that the door is warped when closed) and would like to adjust it some.
My dealers idea of adjusting was someone holding on to it while someone else yanked on the top to "bend" it.

FELLAS PLEASE DON'T LET ANYBODY IN YOUR SERVICE DEPARTMENTS DO ANY SORT OF BODY ALIGNMENTS ON YOUR JEEPS. MAKE ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN THE BODY SHOP DOES ANY REPAIR ON YOUR DOOR. IT SOUNDS LIKE THE UPPER FRONT CORNER NEEDS TO BE ADJUSTED OUT. IF IT IS IN TOO FAR , WHEN YOU CLOSE IT YOU HAVE TO SLAM IT. IT PROBABLY ''POPS'' WHEN YOU OPEN IT UP, RIGHT? IT LOOKS IN LINE WHEN IT'S CLOSED BECAUSE THE BODY ITSELF FORCES IT INTO ALIGNMENT. REPLACING THE DOOR FOR THIS KIND OF PROBLEM IS NOT A GOOD MOVE. FACTORY PAINT, SEAMSEALER, AND SOUNDPROOFING CAN NOT BE DUPLICATED AT THE LOCAL LEVEL. REPAIR IT IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. ALL THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE IS TO HIT THE INSIDE TOP OF THE DOOR FRAME FORCEFULLY WITH THE PALM OF YOUR HAND WHILE HOLDING THE DOOR FIRMLY IN PLACE WITH THE OTHER. THE RUBBER GASKET GETS SCREWED UP BECAUSE THERE IS NO ROOM FOR IT WITH THE DOOR FRAME MISALIGNED.....IN 30 YEARS IN DEALERSHIP BODYSHOPS I'VE DONE THIS HUNDREDS OF TIMES ON FORDS,CHEVYS,CADDIES,TOYOTAS,HONDAS,JAGS,ETC ETC ETC..... GOOD LUCK AND GOOD WHEELING !!!!!!

I happened to be looking at a Jeep on display inside the dealership the other day, and noticed that the driver's door was not quite closed. I opened it and gave it a good amount of elbow grease, enough to shake the entire vehicle.
The door still did not close all the way....

I never had the problem of the door being warped or not shutting, but I did always have to slam the door shut to keep it closed.
What I did was re-adjust the striker on the body side. Just loosen the 2 screws and move it slightly, SLIGHTLY, towards the car. It may be different for each one obviously but it worked on mine and I don't have to slam the door anymore.

I don't know what door we are talking about here?
is it all 4 doors?
next thing
what kind of top do you have softop\hardtop?
I had an issue with my rear doors not closing they needed a push after the first lock.
that was solved today. I just didn't install the side windows properly.
I didnt go through all the comments on this subject. forgive me if someone mentioned this earlier
