Ok, this isn't my first time removing the doors. Everything went fine that time. But this time, all my doors are off (so clearly all harnesses are disconnected) but my dome lights won't go off. I don't have any door ajar alarms on the dash or any beeps, just the dome lights stay on. Can anyone help? I can't figure this out.

They should extinguish after about 20 or 30 seconds. At least that's what mine does. Radio stays on as well. Kinda cool walkin away from my jk with Pantera for background music

I love the music staying on, never thought of it like superhero theme music, but now I gotta make sure I find the right tune to walk away from my Jeep!

Took mine off my 07 for the first time last summer. Think it was the first time this was done. Had to use a floor jack. Went back on just as hard despite lithium grease. Would it be OK to bore out the plastic bushings to make this easier in the future??

Well a couple actually ripped apart on removal. That's how bad they were. So had o remove a couple anyways. So... was wondering about just taking the rest out.
Edit.... I tried cleaning and grease.... no luck. It was a bitch trying to get them back in still...

If the doors are that hard to get on/off, you may have either mis-aligned hinges or bent pins or something.
I had trouble with one hinge set at first, re-aligned it, now they pop out like they're buttered.
I use the delrin bushings (Magnitude Engineering) and no grease.
