Front 44 Locker Slow
my front locker takes forever to lock sometimes it seems my jeep is only about 1.5 years old and when i first got it it would lock pretty much instantly, im running limited slip additive maybe this is the problem but im also running it in the rear and the rear locks quick what gives ?
Why are you running limited slip additive?

huh? you can't have both a limited slip and a locker, they're two different , seperate assemblies. all JK's have a brake-based system though. regardless, you don't need to run an additive in the rubicon diffs.
aww mine only came with some maple syrup and a hockey stick

I'm Canadian, and I had to pay for my LSD in the rear, also had to order it as all the JK's on the lot were open diffs.
Regardless LSD additive in a open diff does nothing but thicken up the oil a bit.
No JK even had the option for LSD up front either ALL are open from the factory, Some Sahara's in early 07 had the option of a locker up front the same as all Rubicon but Jeep canceled that out quick.
Assuming the break assist is making people think they have LSD when they do not. Functions similar to a LSD but isn't the same thing.
For thoes who can't tell the difference...
LSD still delivers TQ to both wheels, the norm is 25% lock up, so 25% of engine TQ is delivered to the wheel with traction and 75% to the one whithout traction (depends on the % of the clutchpack installed). While break assist just takes the TQ away from the wheel without traction and moves it to the wheel with traction.
