Default Buy a diesel!

How does 28-32 mpg grab you. Tested the Sahara diesel, manual and on the computer averaged 31.1 mpg. Not too bad!

From reading all the other post here, I get about 18 mpg. Which i guess isn't bad compared to some of you guys. I'm in phoenix, so alot of the driving i do is flat.

Currently my display is telling me 14.6. I have a 4door and mainly drive in the city. Sometimes if I'm driving on the highway I'll reset the guage so at least for a trip it'll read about 18.5. lol

Also, wouldn't some of us running slightly larger than or way larger than in some peoples cases, be going further, but still have the odometer reading less distance? Could be an insignificant amount, but once you upgrade tires, your speedo/odo isn't going to be exactly accurate.

I have 17,600 miles on the clock with about 3,000 supercharged. I gat 16.5-17.5 consitantly mixed driving. I got the same before supercharging, but having much more fun now with the extra ponies (on premium fuel). I have tried many changes to improve the mpg with no significant luck. My mileage is all hand calculated and you can see all my other mods in my signature (with the exception of having a Gibson single in/dual out muffler).

By math, I'm getting about 17.3 MPG, mostly city. By the nice digital display, I'm getting 19+.

Its the lift, tires, and 3.21 factory gearing that give me my horrible gas mileage. Now if I could just come up on a little quick cash for some gears.

I got just shy of 11000 on my 6sp 4dr total lifetime average is 19.9M.P.G. city & highway combined. Had a dodge 6sp quad cab 4x4 with a 5.9 cummins got the same mileage. I think you guys are right with the shaped like a brick. Didn't buy the jeep for the fuel mileage. I WANT TO HAVE FUN YEAHA. I don't know why these dam red lines are on here?
