gas mileage!!
Just got an 08 2 door x. It is bone stock. I put $50 in gas in the tank at aroung 3.25/gallon. I only got 150 miles out of it. Its a 6 speed, i always shift before 3,000 rpms. Never in 4wd . Is that normal !?
Lots of questions....
Damn 350 a tank is good. How many gallons go in when u fill it up?
Like posted above thats really bad mpgs. Unless your in 4wd most of the time I don't see how mpgs that low is normal. I don't care how heavy you are on the gas.
I average about 20mpg which equates to just over 300 miles a tank.

I have a Unlimited with 35" Mud Grapplers, Power Programer, Automatic, Hardtop, 2.5" lift and I can get about 315 miles to a fill up. Granted I have a larger tank than the two door, but I think I average about 15 mpg. So yeah, you're doing pretty badly.

You said it's a stock '08 X, but what diff gear ratios are you running? 3.21s were standard for the 6-speed, but 3.73 and 4.10 ratios were also available an an option.
If you've got 3.21s then yeah, you must have a hole in the gas tank or something because bone stock you should be getting at least 15-18MPG from a 2-door 6-speed but city driving with a heavy right foot can see you getting 10 or 12 MPG if you're running 4.10s. Another thing to keep in mind is that it may have had even lower gearing added (eg 4.88s) to compensate for bigger (35 or 37") tires, and the previous owner removed the aftermarket wheels/tires and lift and reverted the Jeep to stock when he sold it; a very common practice. Basically the lower your gearing, the more gas you'll use with stock tire diameters.

You should be getting at least 15 mpg average IMO unless you are flooring it from every stop.
