Hardtop Availability
So as many of you know, I've been planning my purchase for a while. Looking at JKs, evauluating my trade in, looking into financing, etc....
So I went in to a dealership today, with no intention of buying, simply to get them to appraise my trade and see what inventory they had. Here's the wierd thing:
I told them exactly what I wanted and told them I wouldn't buy one unless they found a car exactly as I wanted (no more, no less), I figured either they will find one or order one for me in hopes I will come in and buy (Someone else on the forum said a dealer went ahead and ordered him a car, just in the hope he would buy it)....anyway
After I told him what I wanted:
Sahara
4 Door
Hard Top
Stick
MyGig
Side Impact
3.73 Axel
He showed his manager, and they start telling me how this car doesn't exist anywhere....the hardtop company had problems and stopped making them and now you can't get one with a stick and a hardtop or something.....bs bs bs....anyone know anything about this, or was it just car-sales bs.....
overall it was a good experience to see where I stand, but very curious as to what he was talking about-"THAT TRUCK DOESN'T EXIST"

Hollywood Chrysler Jeep in Hollywood Florida- do you knwo of another place in SE Florida.
They also said the transfer case on my 4WD Trailblazer was broken. I believe it is just the tiny orange light behind the dial that is out. In fact I'm almost sure of it. On the way home I messed with it and changed it from 2WD to 4HI and 4LO. The fuel tank went from quarter left to almost empty when I put it in and ran it in 4 LO then ramped back to quarter tank when in 2wd. I'm almost sure it works.
