The dealers always say that the 4wd isn't working. The last 2 vehicles that I traded I got the same runaround. One vehicle I drove to the dealer through snow drifted roads in 4wd and he told me it wasn't working and he would have to knock $800.00 off of my trade.Find another dealer.

I want - very specific

Rescue Green/Black/Silver

Sahara 4 Door
Stick
MyGig
Side Impact
3.73 Axel-No Tow Group
Hardtop

Is there anyway to test my own transfer case on my trailblazer....by jacking it up, or something of that sort.

Jack the front and rear up suport with jack stand and enage the tcase as normal that would tell you. 4wd will use more gas but not make your gauge move just sitting still then go back to normal when switched back to 2wd.

Just so you know, I wanted the dual tops and the dealer didn't have one so they just added a hard top to the deal. There is not shortage.

I am going to try this. But, I would switch to 4 Hi and 4 lo and run each for like a mile or so, and the gauge would move, then switch back, run in 2wd for a bit, and gauge would reallign. Really bizarre.

Yeah Obviously this is dealer bs. They wanted me in a car they had right then and there. I'm sure they will call me tommorow with some schpeel (sp?)

This also how I found mine. I searched dealers for what I wanted and found a dealer 500mi away. My dealer made a deal with them and had it brought in for me.

The only part of your suggested list that may be hard to find is the 3.73 with the 6spd. If it has the Tow Group it will have 3.73 otherwise may be special order. The MyGig unit may also be harder to come by.

Search dealers on the web and see what you can find..

Update: Searched Jeep.com with the build I want, even included the tow package....no matches within 100.00 miles radius. There all either automatic, or missing key features like, 3.73 axel.
