Checked ours today... its not the manifold ticking... its coming from the clutch... It sounds exactly like what WOL is experiencing...

Took her in today because i started to notice a ticking sound coming from the engine after a trip this past weekend only when i accelerated, after dropping her off this morning I received a call telling me sure enough that is was a cracked exhaust manifold. One of the roads we took this weekend was a 15mi rough dirt road; I’m wondering if the vibrations are what did it.
Also since she’s in for repairs I asked the service techs to give her the once over and they also found a Diff leak from the rear driver wheel Bering, luckily it’s all covered under my extended warranty she just rolled 43000 miles.

29.99K and nothing yet.
my clutch still whines for a minute at start up, then its quiet again.

would a set of headers be a waste of money for the V6?
