Are you asking about a JK? I haven't had that problem since CJ5's.

Tell us a little about your jeep, carpeting? Insulation> Auto, stick? Heat shields under the tub missing? ??

I drove a rental JK in Moab that had the carpet removed and it was really hot down by my legs and feet to the point of being uncomfortable. I think the heat was coming through the drain hole.

I have a stock JK 2007, 6-speed. Only changes are the MOAB body lift , which actually brings the body 1 inch away from the tranny and an AIR air filter system. I have no idea why it is so uncomfortable on the feet. Is this normal?. Thanks

I have not really noticed heat comming from the floor, but it is 107 and I have the top and doors off.
Anyway, I sometimes turn the A/C on and have it blow on the floor to cool off the tootsies, it is suprising how well that willl cool you off

I do the same thing. I always have my AC on Bilevel so I never noticed any heat. On my CJ yeah that's a different story and I don't have AC on that... Its hot....You need to take the doors off to keep the air moving around your legs.

Mine is hot near the tunnel. I have removed the carpet. (There is actually a sticker that says don't remove the carpet because it gets hot at the tunnel.) The TJ and the CJ were also hot. Pretty much any vehicle is hot there. The carpet normally masks it along with the shield under the car and the extra shield under the carpet at that location.
