Default Help please

Does any one know how to tighten the front e-brake cable that goes to handle? Mine doesn't get tight till the very top and doesn't hold very good at all, thanks

I always thought that the e-brake only worked the back brakes.... Good luck.......

I think I see what your saying..... prolly get into the console somewheres if not underneath.. A lot of help I am

When the rear shoes (ebrake shoes) wear enough there's an adjuster that should take up the slack.

Either
A) your adjusters are seized
B) your e-brake shoes are worn down to the limit

You don't adjust anything at the handle afaik.

Lol, yes it only locks the rear and under the jeep both cables go into the floor in seperate spots, I just don't want to pull my consol all apart to find there isn't an adjustment

The adjuster is inside each brake drum

Put your jeep in reverse, get rolling along, brake hard. Repeat several times. This will adjust your emergency brake tension.
