13 months, 14k miles no issues. Never exerienced any of the issues that it was recalled for, but had recalls done. It wasn't leaking, but the dealer did the Freedom top seal replacement TSB while it was in for a recall. Trouble free so far.

Well, I don't consider mine to be that problematic... but I've still had more than 2 issues (August '06 build date):
  • Stall Bug (happened only once and was fixed under warranty by a flash/recall.)
  • Steering Box Leak (could have been caused by wheeling... but doubtful. Replaced under warranty.)
  • Leaky Soft-Top (fixed under warranty by replacing door/seal headers.)
  • ESP/BAS Light Acting Up (dealer replaced steering wheel clockspring under warranty-- did not fix issue.)

I have also experienced the auto-tranny overheat "ding" a few times (code 0218) while climbing to higher elevations in 4WD high. Chrysler considers this normal and recommends a tranny cooler, but I consider it an issue that Chrysler should be addressing.

Still, overall, I've been extremely happy with the Jeep!

This is why I waited to get the 2008 instead of the 2007. It seems that folks with 08's have fewer problems then the folks with 07's. But thats just what I've seen.

No problems yet *knock on wood*

Yeah... but I bet you don't have fancy, factory installed footwell and underhood lights!

Almost 14 months, 15000 miles... no issues whatsoever, other than a sore face from perma-grin.

Had a special trip to the dealer once (but it lasted 5 days). Otherwise, everything has been done during scheduled oil changes.
