no problems!
'07 4 door, hardtop, 8500 miles . no problems whatsoever. i off-road her carefully without abuse almost every weekend and she gets me home every time. i'm not saying that i don't push the limits but i know when to back off. this IS my "dream car". if and when problems do come around then i will get the the repair manual out, read, ask questions and commence to fixing the problem. that is after my warranty runs out. i love this thing!

Soft tob leaked immediately - needed to bend in the door frame and replace the head-gasket, which the dealer did a crappy job of fixing.
Soft top strap detached from frame at about 300 miles. The dealer re-attached it in the wrong direction the first time, so I had to bring it back.
Rear passenger side head rest would not fold when I folded the seat down after 10K miles. Dealer said it was stiff from infrequent use - I guess everyother day might be considered infrequent. It only took the dealer three trys to fix.
Tail light bulb went out after 10K. I know this is regular maintenance, but I drove my last car 80K miles until it got totaled in an accident, afterwhich the taillights still worked.
Sunburnt forehead from going topless in FLA all the time - not sure this is a problem with my Jeep or with my skin.
Every thing else is great.

Just one problem. The amp that needed to be reset or whatever because it was causing a popping sound when playing cds. There's a tsb for it.
There's also the hinges that seem to be showing a bit of rust, but it seems to be normal (well, common) with the JK...

let's see.......
1. Strap on the soft top frame came off (stinking rivets)
2. Brake software recall
3. Clutch TSB (clutch squeak)
4. Lower steering shaft replaced (bad u-joint). It stopped the steering colunm clunk.
5. Both Door latches replaced. Stopped the annoying B-pillar clank over bumps
6. Mud everywhere.....what's wrong with this thing.
All of these were minor problems. I love it and still have a huge Freakin' grin and wouldn't trade the Jeep for anything (except maybe a 2 Door, but probably not.)

Same as Jlightning
My 08 unlimited's throwout bearing squeals and that noise above my left shoulder apparently can't be fixed according to the dealer. They adjusted the doors and that didn't do anything...oh well. Runs well otherwise.
