How to reset eng light
Hey guys looking for a magic trick for my 2015 JK. I had the eng light come on the other day and after doing the key switch three times on the code was evap leak small. I checked the gas cap it was tight but I gave it a couple of clicks anyway. I want to reset the light with out lifting the battery cable. Is there any way to do it? I swung into dealer and they are a week out for appointments. Thanks in advance

You could buy a code reader to red and erase code.
But out if you have a 2015 it should be under warranty. Take it to the dealer and have them fix the code.

Yeah I will eventually buy a reader but for now I was hoping there was a quick answer. I went by dealer and they are a week out for appointments, longer if I want a Saturday.

Check the hose going to the Evap canister. Engine compartment. Drivers side by firewall. I had the same light come on in my 2012 about 2 yrs ago. Gas cap had no effect. I simply grabbed that hose on the Evap and gave it a little twist. Error code went away and has never come back.
