How sensitive is the ESP?
Has anyone noticed how sensitive the ESP is? I was getting off the highway in high winds at about 30mph making a right hand turn and the ESP kicked in and cut power bringing me almost to a stop resulting in me getting lightly rear ended!
Nothing serious, just enough to deform the plastic bumper. Has this happened to any one else???

The first 30 mph curve will trip it and I'll have to push the magic button--the one I installed. What kind of engineer SFB would come up with this crap feature?
I've never gotten it in the rear
but after what seemed like 100 attempts of "doing the dance" I got the ESP disabled. Wonderful.
Epic donuts today in the snow - what a treat without fighting the brakes... and I'm sure my brakes will last a lot longer: no more fighting them all winter!

Mine passed sensitivity classes..
Really, I drive my lifted JK on 33's like an indy car, on off ramps, and curves.. no ESP light yet..
The only time I get it it when I feel the back tires cut loose on gravel, snow, ice..
When I go off road the same things, that just reminds me to turn it off.. & have fun !!!

That's pretty interesting. I have it come on only in right hand turns going down hills at around 30 mph. No ESP light though. Dry paved road also. Never happens in a left turn.
