i locked the keys in my jeep with the hard top... you use a screwdriver wish a shirt around it to shim the driver freedom top.

Then use a coat hanger to press the auto unlock. It takes some time and maybe 2 people but trust me its dooable...

I went to hardware store to cut another key....for my Wallet....testing the door cylinders....it worked ...but then I tried the Ignition....and the car turned on...Is this Normal..?...I thought the keys had a Chip....
i took my transponder key apart with out the chip and board it will start the jeep but runs for 30 sec or so before it realizes no chip and shuts down. was playing with mine when i had a remote start added in my 08 6 spd

I lost the key to my jk with doors locked while out of town a while back. Called AAA and they sent a guy who basically used a coat hanger shoved through the top of the door to pull the handle. Pissed me off. I could have done that myself. Then a few weeks ago I had my dash apart and found the key. You'll eventually find your key and kick yourself.

Five minute and I think a t40 Torx wrench later, I just took the drivers side door off the hinges.
