Timing gun. You should also be able to hit up your local advanced auto or auto zone and they can hook your JK up to the computer for a quick diagnosis.

I bet it is your electronic throttle body that is causing the problem. Mine was either replaced or repaired (never know when delaing with the dealer) a while back and this has not happened since. I was a 15k at the time.

My 07 with an auto trans does the same thing. I need to bring it in for the timing cover issue, my water pump is leaking and the fuel tank issue. Glad I have lifetime powertrain warranty.

if ur jeep cranks over, its not the starter. idling low is a fuel problem, start with the simplest solution and get a Fuel Injection cleaner fluid and run it through for the next couple fuelings. if the injector is clogged, dirty or whatever from the water in the fuel, it could be cleared up. if that dosent seem to do the trick, follow up with the fuel filter, and then the fuel pump. hope it helps

This is what I actually planned to do this afternoon. I was thinking that a lot of these gas stations probably carry pretty shitty gas. And I really hope that fixes it, because the dealership here is straight up crooked, not to mention abnormally slow.
