New to the forum but i've been working on jeeps for almost 25 years. I think everyone of them had some kind of grounding issue....I hope this helps someone, it's been a pain and the dealership is no help "no code no problem"...

I've been lurking around the forum for months.....thought I would make it "official" and join!

I have this issue too. I'll try running a second alternator ground wire ASAP.

Default so far so good

It's been 5 months now, no idle issue or starting issue since adding the heavier ground cable and cleaning all the contacts.

Any chance of a write up on the alternator wire?

I'm also having an issue where sometimes I'll turn the key all the way to ignition and engine just clicks. Lights work so I doubt its a battery issue. I usually have to turn the key 4 times or so for it to finally catch. Any ideas? (No intentions of hijacking)
i got that same problem untill it actually left me stranded at work....(didnt wana do overtime) lol i changed that starter n it still does it but not as bad

I put in NGK Iridiums and never had an issue again. IMO the stock spark plugs are garbage.
