Default Manual or automatic?

Today I was talking to a friend about this site and telling about all the awesome JK's on here and all the sweet pictures I see about wheeling. He asked me if most of the jeeps were automatic cause he couldn't imagine being on the trails and burning the clutch.

So what are you guys driving, manual or automatic?

The rubi JKs have the hill assit which is awesome. I've driven both and the manual is 10x better on road and off

I agree, the manual is the way to go...I have had two manuals and an auto, I am glad I went with the 6 speed on my 07 Rubi.

The autos have terrible shift points and are just sluggish in comparison.

I like my 6 speed, even though it is a bit notchy. The Rubi Crawler for the Auto's that's comming out from Advance Adapters makes me kinda wish i had an auto though.

I've got the manual. None of my other vehicles have ever been automatics. Creature of habit, I guess.
