Personally I think it looks funny with the upper on there with the hard top. Would look ok without the upper, but that's whats so GREAT about Jeeps. Its about making it what you like and you enjoy! It truly is a Jeep thing! Others just wouldn't understand.

It doesn't look half bad!



I wonder how the 4 door version would look. If I had the room, I'd take off the hard top. I need to buy a couple acres and build a garage.

Hi Guys,

Many thanks for the input, I guess I got hooked on my old YJ with hard top and factory half doors but I had the fibreglass uppers with sliding glass windows.

I guess all I need now is the money tree to bear fruit.

Jeez these JK's are just money pits.

Half Doors are mighty rare. I can't even count maybe 3-4 that I've ever seen. They cost a fortune to buy on eBay too. I've seen a set go for as high as $6k. I personally feel they would be a way cool accessory for the summer. I got the Dual Top on my JK. If I had a set of 1/2 doors, I'd change it up each season. I'd have the hard top and full doors for the winter and soft top and 1/2 doors for the summer.
