I am wondering if the map update would affect any of my "Saved Trails" data?

Just download the updates from this website. The link is under electrical. Copy to a disk and your all set. I have 08 JKU and have done it 3 times now for free.

I paid for the update from Honda for my wife's car and decided that it was not worth what it cost for the changes that I saw in my area. If I lived in a major metro area it may have been seen as a better investment.

I have found with the Jeep navigation system it has more old/rural roads in it than my Garmin, which are not as likely to change as the metro areas. I can spend that money on something else.

I have a 2011 and on mine, I can change the icon on the screen from that boring blue arrow to an actual vehicle. It's now a JK on my nav screen. Do the older versions have this option??

Just wanted to say thanks for all of the input. I am going to side with the majority of you - who think that for the price its not worth it.

Thanks so much.
