P06DD Code on 3.6
I am going through this now... dealership just reset the code said it wasn't covered under power train warranty. They said they could change these parts:
68252670AA
5149062AB (replaces 5149062AA)
and change the oil for $712. The parts can be had online for under $70 so I am trying to see if my local mechanic can do the work for cheaper.
I might be able to fight them to get them to cover it but I need to go on a long trip next week and don't have time to do it :(

I think it's about $150hr for labor where I live. The job takes about 3hrs. That's just for the oil pressure sensor though. I still have to find out how much it would be for the oil pump. ugh... I have a long trip I need to take and I'm going to have to wing till I come back and have it properly diagnosed.
Just had this same issue come up. Took my Jeep to the Dealer and said it's throwing a P06DD code and it will be the oil pump and or oil pressure sensor based on this thread and others on other forums. They said it was the oil cooler leaking (replaced last January), replaced the part, and said "GTG". It was not "GTG" and the CEL came on before I left the parking lot. Checked the TrailDash and what do you know... P06DD. Hopefully they will rectify the $825 non-solution to my problem and rectify the issue correctly next time around.
I've got the P06DE on a 3.6 in a town and country. Which I believe is the opposite code. May dig into then pump replacement myself . Frustrating one for sure, curious to see if pump replacement fixes it
I got the dreaded P06DD code the other day on my 2013 JK 60,000 miles. I read all of the information i could on line before taking it in to the shop. They changed out the oil pump assy. and so far so good. I was fortunate that I had an extended warranty and the repair cost me nothing out of pocket. Keeping my fingers crossed now...
I've heard that this happens if you choose the wrong oil, it's a common problem, but it can be solved if you change the oil on time. Since you have noticed for yourself that this is why it all started. That's why you need to choose oil for a particular car and for a particular engine. For now, I can say that you can look at and study in detail the article about Best Oil for 3.6 Pentastar https://carfluidsexpert.com/best-oil-for-3-6-pentastar/ . You can look and see. I think there should be no problem with it. I've already found Castrol Edge Extended Performance 5W-20 Advanced Full Synthetic Oil, that's exactly what suits me, but you may have another oil, so study the material in detail and consider the pros and cons.

Boy oh boy some of these dealers deserve to lose their status with FCA and be defrocked! Glad I have an old one as I have fixed all my issues so far. I run Amsoil products in the supposedly TCC chattering Chev 8L90 transmission which does not chatter at all and the engine does not use a drop of oil. Try Amsoil after you get the new pump and drain out the Mopar shit as it is bulk supplied by the lowest bidder. Son's manual is getting Amsoil soon as it is a noisy transmission at 40,000kms only.
2015 Wrangler Unlimited Sport.
Jeep shop replaced the Oil cooler and sensor. Still got P06DD. Then we replaced the oil pump still got P06DD. Used all mopar parts. Oil pressure is sitting around 10psi when warmed up.
Thoughts? What do we do next? TIA.
