I disagree. I had an 03 TJ before my current Jeep and it was just as bad. The most durable vehicle I have ever had in terms of interior was a 96 Land Rover Discovery. Everything else on the vehicle was certainly not durable, but that interior wore like iron.

I treat mine like its fragile(cause it is) my wife put her pocket book up on my dash(no it has no buttons,metal corners etc.) and it somehow scratched it...never had an issue like this with anyother vehicle but this one with scratches on the plastic.Oh and mine is a 3 month old 2008.

Just noticed the other day that the dealership put a scratch on the top of the dash between the windshield and the steering wheel. They did it when they put on the inspection sticker. Looks like they were careless with an xacto blade in trying to remove the sticker.

Fortunately it's not too noticeable.

This interior is not holding up, despite my anal retentive efforts to 303 and armor all the hell out of it.

Oh well.

yep, our TDI didnt scratch at all... the plastic seems to be better than the Jeeps
