Well. The dealer I got the Jeep at looked at it and told me it's normal. I get about 15' range, tops.
I asked if they ran a diag on the WCM module and they said "We tested everything. It's working as intended."
Well... At least there is another dealership in town for my future warranty work.

Just do what Frozenman did....test your JK on the lot and then get them to test out a new JK on the lot.
Then I would ask for the worksheet of them testing the WCM module. But I would walk to the next dealer by the sounds of things.

Fixed !!!!
First they changed the WCM and the range decreased to like 5 feet. OH YEA
They called tech and they said that there was a WCM antenna fix and the new updated antenna was on the way. They popped it in and shazam - 100 feet minimum. PASS IT ON
