Had sticker added under hood when I bought '10 JK new in Nov., that read: "Reprogrammed PCM." Guess that was the flash this thread is talking about ??

It seems the auto industry has to learn with the software industry. The latter's companies usually post in their websites what their software updates are doing (e.g. bug fixes, etc.).

It would be rather nice of them to provide that information, but even upon request I get the "we are unable to assist you due to it being proprietary information" response from Jeep.

The Jeep site only lists if there are any recalls which affect your vin. TSB's are not on there. The only way to know is to call the dealer unless you're there for something else like I was.

When I dropped mine off for service I told them that it was searching for gear between 30-40 and they flashed the computer. Worked like a charm!!

Post Knowledge is Frustration....

My 2010 auto has been to the Dealer twice for oil changes, Nov. and March- every 3,000 miles. Nothing on paperwork for this TSB, so it is either vin-related, or "overlooked" I will check Monday...Thanks for the"heads up".
