Default Power Windows Question

I have a 2008 Unlimited X and I was thinking of adding power windows. What's the best way to do this and about how much does it cost?

Yeah and when you see the price on the link go search elsewhere (fleabay) for direct lift power window kits - they can be had for just over $100... I've used them in other vehicles with good luck. I think the first ones I bought were AutoLoc brand and the others are generics... Getting ready to purchase another set of them for an F1 project I'm working on...

A1-electric is where I bought mine for $239. I think one of the 4 wheel places sells them online for about $100 more. I was having problems with the center shaft protruding from the door beating the crap out of my knee. I found an installer and he installed a generic kit that didn't remove the center shaft nor did the units work very well. So I ordered a kit from A1-electric and had the same installer put them in (no additional charge). They're great and totally replaced the gear units of the manual cranks. The kits come with door switchs, but I opted to have the installer install center switches on the cosole and now no protrusion from the door. If your pretty good at installing things like this, you can do it on your own if a few hours. No cutting. Everything bolts into place except the switchs if you go the center route.

Something else to add to my buy list. Sounds like a great deal for only $239.00
