I've put mine down a few times to wire my cb and again to rewire my new cb antenna. its a pain in the balls to do you have to take of all the plastic molding off take off the vent visors and then its 6 bolts that hold it on i never drove with it down because your windshield is the main support for your roll cage so when your windshield is down your roll cage just kind of hangs there
