Anyone tried the Tuffy Tailgate Security Enclosure? It is smaller, covering only the tailgate area behind the rear seat. Install looks easy based on the instructions.
I was looking at this one at first. It just seems to small. As it is you can just fit a rolling backpack between the seat and tailgate. But it does look easy to install and remove.

Yeah, it was too small to consider for my needs, but again, I didn't want a rear seat anyway.

I've been doorless/topless for months...I just make sure to leave glove box and center console unlocked with absolutely nothing inside, I keep the Jeep bare so there is nothing to steal and hopefully they will try to open something an see it's empty before trying to pop the lock.

Yeah. I've been running topless on my new jeep for the last 4 weeks. I lock the console and glovebox and usually leave the windows down to show that there is nothing worth taking. It would be nice to not have to take my gym bag or laptop with me everywhere I go though. Im thinking of removing the rear seat and making something that locks in that space leaving the floor flat.

I took a page out of one of the write ups and just made my own and covered in in carpet. It locks into the tail gate and also has a internal lock. My goal was to camouflage it a little. I wanted just enough for small bags and what not when out with the wife.
Good luck lots of options!

That's a nice set up! I'm leaning toward something similar.

Thanks I was happy with it. I had another cover I built that went across the back similar to the tuffy security deck. I didn't like not being able to use all the storage space with the seats folded down.
This way is a little bit of a compromise.
