Spent most of today on this. I can't find the bolts anyplace. I'm about ready to cut the exhaust pipe...

Well I got it done....good times were had. Luckily the old fluid still looked red on a paper towel so I feel like it hasn’t been burned. I used a lube locker so I didn’t have to rush getting it all buttoned back up. I think about 5.5 quarts was replaced out of the 9 total which seems pretty good.

This says it all. Many of us have had a nice 2 hour job turn into a 6 or longer with the tranny pan. Let me just say this, now that you are confident you have a fresh filter in it, you may want to get on this program once a year to keep that fluid bright red......

After alot of driving around I was able to find the bolts and get mine back together just prior to the JJ2020. When i returned from the trip i had an amazon package on the deck. I had ordered a 2 pack of the bolts but the ship date changed so had to source local. Anyway after opening the box I have 200 of the bolts now. Appears someone messed up but for $4.00 I guess i'll just toss the old bolts in the trash next time !
