repairing bumper finish
Just wondering what others have done to repair the battle damage, scratches and dings on their bumpers.
I recently bought a stock replacement bumper from another forum member and it's pretty banged up, which I did know before hand.
I figured I wouldn't care so much but when I was about to mount it I decided not to because of the condition.
My first thought is to line-x it, but not sure if that would look right or match well. Any thoughts or ideas would be great. Or if you have done a repair show some pics.
Here is some of what I am talking about.
...Oh and yes, I know chicks dig scars
It's my OCD and I can't let it be.

you guys are too funny. No, it is in no way a urban crawler
. Actually I really don't mind it being banged up so much, Just would have rather it been me that cause the damage
. And yes, I know I should have just bought a steel bumper, but I don't have $300+ right now to drop on that and I really needed the tow hooks and lights. And didn't hurt my wallet. This really isn't that big of a deal, and I would hang it either way. The reason I didn't was really to see what I could do to repair it before it went on. Like if I was to line-x it...why put it on to pull it off.
Thanks for the idea for those who posted, I will look into some.
