I was thinking the same thing....just oposite. I am wanting to get a '12 with the new Penty engine. But i'd want to lose the sally front dash. Yes it looks nice, in a grand cherokee. Theres nothing Wrangler about it. I'm hoping that when it comes out i can put a 07-10 dash in mine. If youre still looking then maybe we could do a swap.

Great little write up so far man! I can't wait to see if the center console and passenger grab handle are retrofittable. I'm subscribed.

How much are those 2011 vents anyway?

I have found them as low as $29.

I got a 2011 Jk and love it. I think the tub is the same on the older models, so the plastic insert should work. Remember, they didn'5 change any of the hard features of the JK so i'd imagine a lot would cross over.

Call me nuts but I love the new dash. I like the cruise control... I do not like the "hill descent" button, that's what low range is for. I like that the interior its more refined, especially the arm rests on the doors. I don't know how secure the center locking compartment is but it is nice.

Hey I think there is another guy on here that is doing some of this as well, I think his name is "Lotay" or something like that. He's got a sick black JKU. Track him down on here he might be able to help you out!

Any luck with this price and part number for the passenger seat hardware? I'm interested in this as well.
