Matt08JK are you saying that the entire 2011 center console will bolt into say a 2007 JK. I have an auto trans.

Does anyone know if the 2011 doors are less squeeky? Could the latches be retrofitted?

Yes that is correct, although I have the 6-speed. The entire console has essentially identical dimensions and the 4 mounting screws have the same locations.

You will likely need the 2011 version of the parking brake lever (PN 5154235AB) but that is also a easy bolt-up.

Since you have the auto, you will need the 2011 auto trans console shifter to replace what you have now.

This could be a good project for you, but of course will be much cheaper if you find one in the junk-yard.

Cheers,

Matt

One thing is for sure in order to swap the steering wheel you will need to purchase a clock spring as well.

I guess I will be checking the junk yards on a regular basis for the console. Thanks
