Default Rough Idle

I am just over 15000KM on my 2009 Rubicon

I started to notice at 10000KM that the idle was rough. now its gets so bad it feels like its going to stall. I have sinse changed my spark plugs and cleaned out my throttle body. I went to Chrysler for a diagnostic. They cant find anything wrong with it.. if its not broken they cant fix it. but this idle should not be like this as far as i know.. or am i wrong?

is this normal? for the first 10000KM you could not even feel the engine idle

Are your rpms dropping? Is it a constant rough idle, ( shaking? ) motor mounts maybe?
I would think if it was constant and it was the mounts, the techs would find that though.

So, you showed them the rough idle, they performed a diagnostic test with the starscan, didn't find anything wrong, and sent you on your way, still with the rough idle? They were blind to the rough idle, just because their little computer said there was nothing wrong?
That's not right.

My idle has dropped to 700 rpm or so, but it's not rough. I just chalk it up to the K&N air filter. I'll clean my throttle body, soon.

I get the occasional rough idle where it feels like it might stall. Only happens maybe once a month. I think a lot of it is the computer. Just like any computer it gets a hiccup and can cause that. Its like the computer doesn't know what it wants to do.

I clean my throttle body about every 12K.

Mine has been idling rough on and off. Never so bad I thought it was going to stall though. It is enough that my passengers comment on it at stop lights. I only have 5050 miles but no check engine light. In my experience with Jeep dealers around where I live they wont look at it if the light isn't on because obviously if something was wrong then the light would be on. I can't believe Jeep can build such a capable vehicle but can't hire competent people to work at the dealerships. Its aggravating.

Is it a constant rough idle? Is it never normal? Is it always rough? shaking?
I would think if it was something computer related (or at least something the computer reads) it would shoot you a code.
That's why I threw the motor mount thing in there. How are your RPMS, up and down or constant?
I'm sure in the long run someone here will have a clue as to what it is you are experiencing and you will be on your way to getting it fixed.
