This is very true. I ran 20w50 in my previous vehicle (it was old) and I could always tell if a mechanic put the cheap oil in it because my oil pressure would drop and it would run rough.

Regarding the dirty mass air flow sensor referenced on page two:
The 3.8 has no mass air flow sensor. The sensor in question is the intake air temperature sensor.
If the computer even needs mass air flow data, it can extrapolate it from rpm, manifold absolute pressure, and throttle position.
