Default Rust touch up paint

Time have a good way to clean this up? Small amounts of rust around the screws are driving me mad. It's only that windshield bracket and no where else on the jeep.

Try spraying them with wd40 and scrub with a firm toothbrush. Make sure to let them soak before you scrub them.

Even if it's not my paperwork showed that it cost around $120 to repaint both sides.

Take a rag and some rubbing compound. Remover the bolts ( I did one at a time) rub with compound and then use a good lithium grease spray. Spray the area in and around the hole and put bolts back ... Worked for me has not come back

Thanks. By rubbing compound do you mean a mild abrasive cleaner wax?

We would scrub the area then use Krylons rust prevention paint.. then maybe several coats of either bed liner of conventional paint or maybe the hammered textured look..(off road armor look)
