You shouldnt have replaced it... Your jeep is going to go slower now

It is not that they cannot make the bend smooth, but that it costs a lot more money to do mandrel bending and welding to make it perfect.

That dent has nothing to do with mandrel bending or the other. Notice how the dent is after the bend. I really think it is there for clearance in a worst case scenario sistuation (axle stuffing all the way up with some force). Just doesn't make sense to have a dent after the bend.
