Is this a Soft Top issue?
I have been trolling the forum for a while now and I finally picked up a brand new 2013 JKUR. I have some experience with friends jeeps but this is the first one I have ever owned and my first dealings with a soft top.
Long story short, my jeep was originally came equipped with a hardtop but the dealer swapped tops for a prior customer and they put the soft top on mine. That being said, there were bolts missing, straps missing and fitment issues. All of which were fixed before I took final delivery of the jeep except for the left rear corner not snapping into place and not staying "tucked in." The plastic appears to be warped/bent and will not stay tucked into the metal lip on the body.
I brought the issue up to my salesman and the manager and they said "all jeep soft tops get that way, and that's just the way they are"
Is this normal ?
Thanks

If you ride with the windows out ( both side and rear) the wind will pull it out. The solution is to get a small bungee chord and wrap it around the rag top pillar and the roll bar. This will turn the edges of the top in enough to not catch the wind and shake it out of the rail slot.
Hopefully my description translates ok. If not I'll post pics tomorrow. Good luck. Welcome to the forum.

Not normal it should tuck under the body lip and stay put take it to your dealer and walk over to another jeep on the lot with a soft top and show them if they think it is "normal".

It is a tight fit, I tried unlatching the top to relieve some tension but it still won't snap into the lip properly. The right rear corner stays tucked in with no problems.
Ol'bob- I will have to try that. I think we will be driving with the windows out a lot.
I think I'll be going back to the dealer and having a chat with them about the issue.
Just for curiosity sake, Does the Soft top have a production date stamped on it anywhere ?
Thanks for the help.
