I have a brand new 1 week old 2 door. I traded in a 2010 2 door soft top and it never flapped. The windows are installed properly. Then last night I was gonna take the top off and maybe re position it. But one side window won't unzip all the way, there's a kink in the zipper about mid way. Will that cause the top to flap? I'm taking it to the dealer. Will the zipper straighten up or will I need a new top?

The only time I had an issue with my 2 door was when I didn't get the sunrider pins engaged properly. Other than that no prob with any top noise on my 2011. Don't think the zipper would cause it but I would definitely let the dealer look at it before you take the windows out so they can't blame the zipper prob on you.

 

Did you inflate the top? (AC not on recirc)

Ok u were serious. I tried it and it worked. But it deflates, as i stop and go!

 

Dealership looked at it. This is what they did. They said take it in Monday they will replace the zipper and give me a loaner car while they work on it.

 

Just dropped it off at the dealer. There gonna put a new zipper on it.
