Gasoline is probably not a good option for you!

When I de-badged mine I used a blow dryer and my wife peeled them off with her little fingers. The trail rated badge required some goo gone. Just wash really well after! I am getting ready to take the J E E P off the front and shoot it black. Will update!

You don't have to take the JEEP badge off to shoot it black. I did mine on the jeep. I used PlastiDip (i got it from Home-Depot). It comes in a spray can just like any other spray paint. However it is actually a rubberized coating. Mask a sqaure around the JEEP badge and cover the surrounding area for overspray. Spray it right on the jeep. Let it dry, recoat a times. When it is completely dry. the rubber coating on the paint surrounding the Badge peels right off. When it comes to a seam or meets the JEEP badge, it will actually tear clean. You will be left with a factory looking black badge. You can YOU TUBE it. Its very easy!!!

Until dealers start giving me money for free advertising you'll never see their names on my vehicles.

By the way, I work in advertising.
Haha - Same.

I also made the dealer remove any trace of their name from my Jeep before i would finish the paperwork.

AND

I also work in advertising - I know what those impressions are worth!!!!

yup, the hairdryer trick works well alog with a credit card or something to get it started. Peel slow and steady while heating up the area in front.
Like mentioned earlier, very important to clean and wax the area afterwards

I know this is a little late but the answer to this question is quite easy. Remove the spare tire cover, take it into your garage and place it in the trash can.
