I don't have any issues up or down alone, took a few times to get it just right, but now I can do it pretty quick.

I have to laugh at this, because the first time I took my top down, it went fairly well... and then when at work... it was about to rain... and the wind was picking up just a tad... and I was about to put it up, by myself, for the first time.

Well, I got it up, but the wind catching that thing was funny.. Took me several attempts to get the latches to grab... I did know to open the tailgate up & down, ( used to own a TJ).. I stood on the rear bumper with the tailgate open and lifted... and walked it forward as I tried to latch it.... into the wind.

I should have move the Jeep downwind, but hey,.. it makes a good story, right? After I couldn't control the latches from the back, I went to the backseat and worked from there like many of you have said... I think it took me 10 minutes, mostly due to my not knowing how those latches lined up and catch. The next time will be easier and like you have all said,.... practice and repetition will lead to mastery... I think that's what you all were saying...
