Traction Control and ESP/BAS Indicator lights
On my way home from work today both of these lights came on. When I got home I turned it off and let it sit, then cranked it again and they are still on. Any thoughts on the possible cause?
I have an '09 JKU, auto, a/c, stock except I have 18" Sahara rims and tires instead of the 17" M/T. It has been pulling to the right for a while, but was going to have the tires rotated during the next oil change in about 600 miles. It seems that with this wheel/tire setup, it always pulls when the front right tire is on the front (pulls left when it's on the left side). The Jeep has 42k miles on it an (unfortunately) rarely sees any offroad other than some sand in the orange groves. There was a light rain today, but nothing that would get anything really wet, etc.
Any thoughts would be great. I hate to take it to the dealer because the local service dept sucks, and I'm pretty sure it'l be out of warranty. Thought I could drop by AutoZone or somewhere to get the code checked.
Thanks, Jim.

What does the wear on the tire in question look like? Sounds like to me that the tire is worn down differently than your other tires so your jeeps not going to drive straight and the cpu is trying to adjust. New tires you can't just replace one you should replace both front tires
sounds like a wheel speed sensor.
you can do the key dance and pull up the codes that display in your odometer.
the sensors are only around 30 bucks I think. you will just have to pull the code to find out which wheel it is.

Forgot to mention, the rims are from an earlier Jeep, and there are no tire pressure sensors, if those are the sensors you are talking about.
Also, there is no abnormal wear on any of the tires.
I purchased the rims/tires a year ago or so because the M/Ts don't hold well in the rain and are terrible in the sand. These were new Discount Tire A/Ts and I keep rotating them just so they don't wear bad. They are almost worn, so I'm going to put the stock rims/tires back on soon.
I tried the read the codes with the key (turned on and off 3 times, left it on the 3rd time) and nothing came up, but both lights stay on, even if I crank it. I did notice that it seemed "loose" today, and seemed to pull a little more to the right than usual. I thought it may have been the wind blowing me around from the storm that rolled in.

Took the Jeep to Discount Auto to get the codes checked and on the way the lights went out, and they couldn't find any codes on their reader. I guess I'll wait for something to happen again. In the meantime, I'm going to switch back to the OEM rims/tires, after I paint them black.
Thanks to everyone for their input. I bookmarked the sensor threads.
