Stopped in for an oil change at my local speedy lube place, and i know most of the guys in there. they love when i come in since they are wheelers, and the one guy made it a point to ask me if i was still under warranty. i ask why and he says "do you hear that"? i say, yes, and he says "that is your water pump" it is on it's last legs. he suggested i get it into the dealer to have it replaced before full blown failure.
it's going in thursday to get looked at. i'm at 31K miles, just inside of my 36K warranty still. might as well get it replaced if i can, but, my question is, is this something that you'd be able to hear and identify before it fails? not that i doubt the guy, but, i don't want to look like a jackass either...
