Good call I wanted to post in here bc the TJ section don't get much action & since I sold my JK...I can't find a TJ forum that I like & easier to navigate! But its a 2000 Sahara with 75K miles on it that came from up North. I'm looking at buy it, but it seem a little greasey by the transfer case & tranny...going to have to look closer in person...

ok ill take it even further:

"Dana 35 rear axles have a 7.56″ diameter ring gear and only showed up on a few 2007 Sahara and X model Jeep JK Wrangler 2-Doors before being replaced by Dana 44’s. These were available with a 3.21 and an optional 4.10 gear ratio. No limited slip or locking differential was offered for it."

LOL, okay. from 1987 to 1990 they were a non clip but 1991 they went to a C-clip design and sucked worse because your axle will now fall out if you break anything!

Oh yeah and then went to a rubber plug in the diff cover leading to leaking oil and many failed rear ends because of it.

BTW, it's funny you mention the 07 JK with the 35 because my 2007 X I had was one of the rare one's with a D35 with 4:10's which I broke very quickly and pulled it and sold it to some guy for $80!!!!!!! LOL I couldnt believe he wanted it! anyway put in a JK 44 and loved it but then sold it and bought my 2009.
