What the heck is backspacing?

As long as you don't end up with more backspacing than what the factory wheels have, you're fine.

4.5" or anything close to that will put the face of the wheel just about flush with the fender..instead of it being tucked up closer to the body like the factory wheels do. I've had wheels with 4" BS, they stuck out a bit too far for my taste...so now I have some with 5" BS and they sit right where I want them to. So, anywhere around 4"-5" wouid be perfect. Hope that helps, I'm not the best at trying to explain stuff....

Hey; Back on this forum again and now I realize that the vendor is now a sponsor here and I guess they explained a little further the sizing from another post about the sizing of the wheels:

"We have just recieved stock of the New V-tech Off-road

They are available in
17x8.5 25mm offset (5.75BS)
17x8.5 0mm offset (4.75BS)"

With the above facts now known on BS and offset, which wheel would be a better fit with no lift and no spacers when you mount BFG KM2 LT285/70R17 in your opinion?

I did send them the same question hoping for a quick answer. Thanks for the feedback JK-KJ.

Cheers

Between those two, I'd say the 4.75" BS would be better...
